Citrus Baseball hosted Pasadena City College this afternoon, picking up its 3rd win of the season 6-3. Peter Eitapence, who relieved starter Benjamin Aguilera, pitched the final 6 innings, striking out 5 batters and allowing just one hit on the way to his 2nd win of the season. Aguilera had 4 strikeouts in 3 innings pitched.

Citrus has seen some solid hitting from its starting lineup this year and today was no exception. Donovyn Curiel and Shota Usuda both hit home runs, Curiel's was a two run shot that drove in Jesse Villalobos. As a team, Citrus is batting a solid .275 with an on base percentage of .392 and slugging percentage of .437. The Owls will look to continue that offensive energy when they travel to East Los Angeles Thursday for a 2:00 PM start.
