Citrus Baseball hosted WSC East conference leader Glendale College on Saturday, dropping the contest 5-6 after a late rally by Glendale. Glendale maintains sole possession of the lead in conference play with an undefeated record. The Owls drop to 3-2 in conference, enough to tie Citrus with Canyons for a share of second.
Kristin Scott went 3 for 5 on the day and cracked a 400 foot, 2 run homer to left field; and Donovyn Curiel went 2 for 3 including a solo homer in the 6th inning, and added a stolen base.
The Owls take the field again today as they host Antelope Valley, a conference opponent. First pitch is scheduled for 2:30.
