Teppei Fukuda Signs With University of Hawaii Hilo

Citrus Baseball's Teppei Fukuda has signed on with the University of Hawaii at Hilo to continue his career as a student-athlete. 

Fukuda, a 2-time Western State Conference East All-Conference selection, had an impressive 2-year run at Citrus as the team's starting catcher. The Sophomore, who is a native of Japan, was an offensive force throughout his career and was also the WSC Golden Glove award winner in his Freshman season. 

Fukuda ends his tenure as an Owl having appeared in 80 games. The slugger posted 90 hits, including 24 doubles and 6 home runs. His career batting average was a solid .302 and his career slugging percentage was .443. 

The University of Hawaii at Hilo is an NCAA Division II institution competing in the PacWest Conference.
