Bio

Coach Marcos Aldrete returned to Citrus in the fall of 2023. He first joined the Citrus College staff in 2011 after playing two seasons at New Mexico Highlands.

Aldrete played for NCAA DII New Mexico Highlands after his community college career at Rio Hondo College. He was known for his clutch hitting recording six career walk-off hits and four pinch-hit home runs.

Before Rio Hondo, the Whittier native played four solid seasons at Whittier High School. Aldrete was a member of the 2004 team that went 16-0 in the league, the only team to go undefeated in school history. Aldrete also left Whittier holding the school record for doubles and runs scored.
