Citrus Wins AML Title Outright After LA Southwest Forfeit

No. 17/No. 14-ranked Citrus College won the American Metro League title outright without even needing to make a play Saturday.

Prior to the game starting, LA Southwest College decided to forfeit, awarding the Owls a 1-0 win.

With the result, Citrus finishes the regular season with a perfect 10-0 record, 5-0 in conference.

The Owls now wait to see what their bowl game fate will be.
