MEN'S BASKETBALL: Citrus Named a CCCAA Scholar Team of the Year

For the second-straight year, Citrus College was selected as the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Men's Basketball Scholar Team of the Year. 

The honor comes after the 2018-19 Fighting Owls posted a 3.33 team GPA and finished the year as the Western State Conference East Champions for the third-straight year, boasting a 25-7 overall record and undefeated conference mark at 10-0.

Citrus advanced to the State Championship Final Four and Coach Brett Lauer was named the WSC East Coach of the Year. In the classroom, 11 Student-Athletes recognized as Citrus College Scholar Ballers – student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0.
