No. 14-ranked Citrus College grabbed its third-straight victory heading into postseason with a 96-66 win over Antelope Valley College.
The Owls move to 20-6 on the year and 10-2 in the Western State Conference-South. The Marauders drop to 10-15, 3-9 with the loss.
Five Owls finished the night in double figures, led by Chris Harper, who finished with 17 points on 8-of-15 shooting. He added eight rebounds to help Citrus win the glass 43-to-36. Leonard Turner (5-for-7) followed with 13 points, while Cedric Reed (4-for-8) and Jayden Johnston (4-for-5) each added 12 points. Aibigho Ujadughele dished out a career-high five assists and Dylon Davis had another four.
AVC might have scored the first points of the night, but it was all Citrus after Turner knocked down a trey from the top of the arc to give the Owls the lead.

As a team, the Owls shot 46.5-percent from the floor, including 44.7-percent from beyond the arc. Defensively, Citrus held AVC to 22.2-percent shooting from the perimeter.
The Owls will look to keep carrying momentum into the postseason, which is scheduled to start in two weeks.
