Victorville, CA -- The Citrus College Men's Golf team participated in the Victor Valley College Tournament at Spring Valley Lakes Country Club on Monday afternoon. The tournament paired the schools into three sets of two for a best ball format. Sophomore Joshua Davis and freshman Joshua Herman teamed up to post the best score for the Owls, carding a 71.

Sophomore Matt Nolan and sophomore Bradley Rowland were behind that group coming in with a 74, while sophomore Homerson So and Takakazu Furukawa combined to shoot a 78. The three scores gave the Owls a total of 223 for the tournament. That placed the Owls tied for seventh out of the 10 competing teams.

The Owls will be back out on the links this coming Monday when they open up Western State Conference match play at the WSC Event hosted by College of the Canyons. Tee-time is set for 10:00 AM at Valencia Country Club.
