Owls Stumble at WSC Bakersfield

Bakersfield, CA -- The Citrus College Men's Golf team had a setback on Monday afternoon at the WSC Event host by Bakersfield College at Rio Bravo Country Club as they stumbled to a 8th place finish shooting a team score of 420.

Sophomore Homerson So continued to play well, firing a two over par 74, the second best round of any golfer on the day. So was the only Owl though to shoot in the 70's. Freshman Takakazu Furukawa shot an 84, while sophomore Joshua Davis shot an 85. Freshman Joshua Herman came into the clubhouse with an 88, while sophomore Matt Nolan rounded out the scoring with an 89.

The Owls will try and rally and gain back some momentum this coming weekend when they take part in the Santa Barbara City College Invitational. The two day event kicks off on Sunday at Marshallia Ranch Golf Course, with a tee-time set for 10:00 AM.
