Ventura, CA -- Citrus College freshman Samuel Mangiaterra had his solid 2015 campaign come to a close on Monday afternoon at the 2015 California Community College Athletic Association Southern California Championships. Facing the top golfers from around SoCal, Mangiaterra had a strong day, but wasn't one of the two individuals to continue onto the CCCAA State Championships.

Mangiaterra opened the day with a round of 83 in his morning round. During his second round, Mangiaterra fell behind early, but rallied over his final nine holes, going -2, settling for a 77. That put his two round total at 160. Mangiaterra was Citrus' lone representative at the SoCal Championships, a testament to his strong freshman season.
