Citrus Posts Its Best Score of the Year

Citrus College posted its best score of the year with a 386 at the Western State Conference No. 3 event Monday, hosted by Allan Hancock College at Santa Maria Country Club.

Four Owls finished with scores under 80 to help Citrus finish in fourth, sitting just one stroke behind Glendale College in third.

Kabir Chadha and Daichi Nishisu each carded a three-over, 75, to lead the Owls. Chris Ruiz followed with a 77, while Lorenzo Herrera posted a 79. Matthew Ibarra rounded out the scorers with an 80 on the day.

The Owls continue conference action on Monday at the Antelope Valley Country Club, teeing off at 10 a.m.
