Owls Battle the Elements at WSC #6

Citrus College battled tough, windy conditions Monday at the sixth Western State Conference event of the year, taking sixth as a team.

The Owls posted a 420 as a team, with all but one scorer finishing in the 80s. Kabir Chadha led Citrus with an 80, followed by Ashtin Mount with an 82. Lorenzo Herrera carded an 83 and Matthew Ibarra finished with an 85. Daichi Nishisu rounded out the scorers with a 90, while Simon Oh was Citrus' drop score with a 91.

The Owls have just two more events in the regular season, heading to the College of the Canyons' home course next week for a 10 a.m. start time.
