Chadha Qualifies for State Championship

Citrus College saw both Kabir Chadha and Daichi Nishisu compete at the SoCal Championships Monday with Chadha advancing to the State Championship next week with a top-10 finish.

Chadha turned in a 149 after carding a 74 in the first round and a similar 75 in the second round to take 10^th overall, posting the highest score out of the individuals not competing with a team.

Nishisu finished with an 81 in the opening round and an 83 in the second round to card a 164 over the two rounds, which was good for a top-50 finish.

Chadha closes out the 2022-23 season for Citrus Athletics at the CCCAA State Championship, held at the Dragonfly Golf Club in Madera, Calif., May 14-15.
