Citrus Takes Fourth at 3C2A SoCal Preview

Citrus College took on the 3C2A SoCal Preview on Monday and posted its second-best team score of the year. It put the Owls fourth as a team, just 10 strokes off first place.

All five scorers for the Owls carded 80s or lower, with Ashtin Mount leading the charge with a 74. Daichi Nishisu followed with a 77, while Lorenzo Herrera and Chris Ruiz each posted 79s on the day. Kabir Chadha rounded out the scorers with an 80.

College of the Canyons and Bakersfield College tied for first with 379 team scores, but the Owls beat out Santa Barbara City College (397) and Glendale College (397) from the Western State Conference.

Citrus takes a week off before heading to the Brookside Golf Course on Monday, March 25.
