Bakersfield, CA - The Citrus College Men's Soccer team added to their impressive road resume on Tuesday evening when they travelled to Bakersfield College. The road warrior Owls came back to Glendora with a 2-0 win moving to a 5-3-1 mark on the road.

The Owls managed fewer shots and corners than the Renegades, but the shots they did manage were on frame at a higher rate out-pacing Bakersfield 4-3 in shots on goal. Citrus would stay off the board until the closing minutes when freshman Brian Ellis passed the ball to sophomore Emilio Del Villar who put the game away with a strike in the 90th minute. Freshman keeper Jorge Quinones Guerrero finished with three saves and his second shutout of the season.

With the win, Citrus moves to 8-6-2 overall and 3-3-1 in WSC South play. The Owls will be back in action on Friday when they travel to Glendale College for a 5:00 PM showdown with the Vaqueros.
