Men's Polo Captures Doubleheader Win at Mt. SAC

Men's Polo spent Saturday at Mt. San Antonio College for a mini round robin with San Diego Mesa and Mt. SAC. Citrus swam away with a pair of wins, rounding out the regular season and improving to 12-8 overall and 2-2 in WSC conference play. 

Citrus faced off against Mt. SAC first, dismounting the Mounties 10-8. Leading the way on offense was none either than the team leader in goals, Keith Green. Green netted 4 goals in the victory, along with 2 steals. Jordan Scott and Anthony Alacorn each contributed a pair of goals, with Scott chipping in 5 steals in the effort. 

The Owls turned right around and went head to head with San Diego Mesa. Citrus sent the Olympians packing, topping the visitors 12-6. Green led in goals once again with 3, and added a pair of steals. Noah Fonacier chipped in 4 steals and a goal and goalie Josh Ocampo stopped 8 shots in the win. 

Up next for the Owls is the Western Sate Conference Tournament which will be held on November 2nd and 3rd. Times will be announced this week.
