Citrus Men's Water Polo played a conference match on the road at Santa Monica on Wednesday. The Owls were beaten by the Corsairs 18-10.
Citrus' lead scorer on the day was freshman attacker Matthew Roebuck, who put 5 shots in the back of the cage. Roebuck also chipped in an assist, 4 steals and a drawn exclusion. Chantz Gladden contributed pair of goals in the effort, also dishing out an assist and a drawn ejection. Goalie Jacob Perez recorded 13 stops on the day, on 31 shots faced.
The Owls drop to 1-16 overall in 2019 and 0-4 in conference play. The guys jump back in the water on Friday in a 2 game stand at Mt. SAC. Game times are 9:00 and 11:00 AM.
