Owls Get #4 Seed in SoCal Playoffs
Glendora, CA -- The Citrus College Softball team has learned where it will be seeded in the 2015 CCCAA Southern California Regional Playoffs. The Owls earned their highest seed in program history, grabbing the #4 seed after going 30-9 overall and winning their second straight Western State Conference Blue Division Championship.
Citrus' opponent over the weekend will be #13 San Bernardino Valley College. It will be the first meeting between the Owls and Wolverines this year. San Bernardino went 26-13 on the season and won the Foothill Conference, their first in 17 seasons.
The weekend series will start on Saturday May 2nd. It will be a best two out of three series with game one set for a 2:00 PM first pitch on Saturday. Game two and game three (if necessary) will take place on Sunday.
