Citrus College remained undefeated in Western State Conference-East action with a 3-2 victory over Glendale College.
The Owls improve to 8-17 on the year and 2-0 in conference. With the loss, the Vaqueros slip to 5-16, 0-2.
Jaidyn Harris won the low-scoring duel, holding Glendale to four hits and two runs to pick up her fourth win of the year.
The Owls struck first with a run in the first after Layla Prieto drove in Alexis Cordero from third, 1-0.
Citrus tacked on another run in the fourth after Patty Rodriguez led off with a triple down the right-field line. A fielder's choice plated Rodriguez to put the Owls up 2-0.
Glendale tied the game up in the sixth with two runs, but Citrus answered back in the bottom half of the inning. With runners on first and third, Isabella Ramirez drove in the go-ahead run.
The Owls held onto the 3-2 victory and head to LA Valley for a contest at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
