Walker is Headed to Simpson

Citrus College Softball's Jillian Walker is gearing up to play at the next level, heading north to Simpson University.

"I'm excited to be able to continue my academic and athletic journey at Simpson," said Walker.

Over her two-year career, Walker made over 100 appearances to the plate, boasting a .302 career batting average. She had 32 career hits – 10 of which were doubles, two were triples and two were home runs – and knocked in 23 career RBIs.

"I want to thank my coaches and teammates for a great two years at Citrus," said Walker. "I've grown as a person and made some really good friends!"
