Bio

Coach Ed Andersen is in his seventh season with the Fighting Owls, after having made the transition from Whittier College in NCAA Division III, where he was the top assistant.

Prior to his stint at Whittier, Coach Andersen spent three solid seasons as the head coach for Arcadia High School. While at Arcadia, Coach Andersen led the Lady Apaches to a 58-20 overall record, including a 31-3 league record and back to back Pacific League Championships during the 2006-2007 seasons. In each of these seasons, the Pasadena Star News ranked the Lady Apaches as the top team in the West San Gabriel Valley. As a result of his efforts, Andersen was named the 2006 Pacific League Coach of the Year and the West San Gabriel Valley’s Coach of the Year, as named by the Star News.

Drawing on prior experience in the corporate world as a senior level manager, Coach Andersen educates players through the popular “Winning at Life” curriculum. Winning at Life provides players with valuable lifetime tools, like Creating a Life’s Vision, Self-Marketing Strategies, Developing Your Brand, and Leveraging Your Inherent Talents.

Coach Andersen resides in Arcadia with Debbie, his wife of thirty-six years.
