Ventura, CA -- 24 hours after the Owls suffered their worst loss of the year, the Citrus College Women's Basketball team turned around and had a complete opposite game against El Camino College-Compton Center in the second and final day of the Ventura Crossover. The Owls posted their biggest win of the year and scored a season high in a 87-45 victory.

Four Owls finished in double figures on a night in which everything went right for Citrus. The Owls shot a blazing 58.1% from the floor and 41.7% from three. In addition the Owls bounced back at the free-throw line where they were 10 of 14 for a 71.4 shooting percentage.

Sophomore's Jasmin Longtin and Jaelyn Wilson each had a team high 18 points in the win. Sophomore Taylor Jackson had 17 points, 5 assists, and 4 steals, while freshman Tyvette White added 12. With the win, Citrus improves to 6-5 on the year.

The Owls will be back out on the floor this coming weekend when they participate in the Grossmont Holiday Tournament. Citrus opens up the weekend against another ranked opponent when they take on Mt. San Jacinto College at 3:00 PM on Saturday.
