Women's Soccer travelled up to Bakersfield Tuesday for a WSC conferce matchup at Bakersfield College. The Owls dropped the match 0-1, but battled hard throughout most of the match. Bakersfield got thehir break midway through the 2nd half with the lone goal of the match.
Goalie Alexa Moreno posted a shutout on the day, stopping 10 Bakersifled shots on goal.
Despite the setback, Citrus moves into the last half of conference play with confidence and team first attitude. The Owls currently sit in the number 4 spot in conference, but winning the rest of its matches could create an inrteresting tie breaker with the leaders.
