Owls Keep It Rolling On Day Two

Valley Glen, CA -- The Citrus College kept things rolling on day number two of the 2014 Western State Conference Swimming Championships on Saturday. The Owls picked up 44 more points, as they currently sit with 77 on the week.

2014 Season Comes to a Close at WSC Championships Final Day

Valley Glen, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Swim program’s 2014 season came to a close on Saturday. The Owls finished up their season long campaign with a strong final showing on the third and final day of the 2014 Western State Conference Championships.

Sophomore Kirsten Pampu was one of the top two performers for the Owls on Day #1 of the WSC Championships.
Women’s Swim Has Strong Start on Day 1 of WSC Championships

Valley Glen, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Swim team got the 2014 WSC Championships underway on Thursday afternoon. Sophomore’s Kirsten Pampu and Chelsea Fujita-Haffner helped pace the Owls on the day as they earned 33 points.

Owls Wrap Up Regular Season at Pasadena Invite

Pasadena, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Swim team wrapped up their 2014 regular season this past weekend just up the 210 Freeway at the 2014 Pasadena City College Invitational. The Owls had number of quality performances, and are primed for the post-season.

Sophomore Marissa Moreno scored a team high four points for the Owls at their WSC Event hosted by LA Pierce this past weekend.
Swim Continues On at LA Pierce

Woodland Hills, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Swim team continued their 2014 season on Friday afternoon at Los Angeles Pierce College. The Owls had their best team effort of the season, as they finished fourth out of the five teams outpointing Ventura College.

Freshman Lauren Quintero had the best showing by an Owl in the 50 Free in the WSC Meet hosted by Bakersfield College on Friday.
Swim Finishes First Conference Meet at Bakersfield

Bakersfield, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Swim team took part in its first official Western State Conference Meet of the 2014 season on Friday afternoon at Bakersfield College. The Owls showed some early season promise as they move forward.

Walnut, CA -- Citrus College sophomore Chelsea Fujita-Haffner launched herself into the State conversation this past weekend with her performances in the Fly events at the 2014 Mt. San Antonio College Invitational. Fujita-Haffner had a pair a big races, finishing in the Top 10 in both events, in a meet that featured nearly all of the top swimmers from Southern California.

Ventura, CA -- The 2014 Citrus College Swim season got underway on Saturday afternoon in Ventura at the 2014 Western State Conference Pentathlon. The meet, which features five different swimming events and combines to the times to find an individual winner, showcased the WSC’s best all-round swimmers. Sophomore Kirsten Pampu paced the Owls at the event, with the highest overall finish in 37th place.

Glendora, CA -- When the 2014 swim season kicks off later today, the Citrus College Women’s Swim team will be in their second year of competition after a few years absence. With a year under their belt, the Owls will be looking to improve their overall performance from last season, and have the tools to continue to grow and be successful when the end of the season comes along.
