Glendora, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Volleyball team got to finish their 2015 campaign the right way on Wednesday night when they swept visiting Antelope Valley College. The Owls came out with a spirited effort defeating the Marauders 25-13, 25-22, and 25-17.

Road Weary Owls Get Swept at Bakersfield

Bakersfield, CA - After a tough 2015 season which saw the Citrus College Volleyball program go 1-11 on the road, the Owls’ away slate came to a close on Friday in a straight set loss to host Bakersfield College.

Only One

Glendora, CA -- When the Citrus College Volleyball program played host to Santa Monica College on Tuesday evening, the Owls knew they’d have to bring their best game to step to team that had won three straight against Citrus. While the Owls gave it their best effort, they only got one set off the Corsairs who went on to win 25-20, 23-25, 25-17, and 25-18.

Repeat History

Glendora, CA - Earlier this year when the citrus College Women's Volleyball program traveled to Glendale College for a Western State Conference showdown the Owls won the first two sets before falling in five. It was nearly repeat history on Friday night, as Citrus won the first and fourth sets before losing a heartbreaker in five sets.

Cougars Sweep Owls in Santa Clarita

Santa Clarita, CA - The Citrus College Volleyball team had a tall task on their hands on Wednesday night when they travelled to State #5 College of the Canyons. The Owls were swept by the Cougars 25-20, 25-9, and 25-18.

Owls Sweep West LA for Third Conference Win

Culver City, CA - The Citrus College Volleyball team picked up their third conference win on Wednesday evening when they travelled to West Los Angeles College. The Owls cruised on the night winning 25-19, 25-13, 25-19.

Far and Away

Lancaster, CA -- When it comes to road contests, the 2015 Citrus College Volleyball team has been far for their best selves during away games. That trend continued on Friday evening when the Owls were downed in straight sets by Antelope Valley College 25-15, 26-24, and 25-20.

Owls Shock State #19 Bakersfield College in Straight Sets

Glendora, CA -- Coming into Wednesday night’s WSC South meeting with State #19 Bakersfield College, you had to know that things weren’t going to be easy for the Renegades. No matter the records of each team, the two schools typically play each other tough in the Owls’ Nest and Wednesday night was no different, when Citrus shocked the Renegades in straight sets.

Santa Monica Downs Owls in Four

Santa Monica, CA -- The Citrus College Volleyball team hit the road on Friday afternoon to take on Santa Monica College in Western State Conference South Division action. The Owls gave it a go against the Corsairs keeping it close throughout, but were ultimately downed in four sets.

Owls Can’t Close Deal in Glendale

Glendale, CA — After winning the opening two sets of their WSC South road contest at Glendale College, the Citrus College Volleyball team just couldn’t find a way to close the deal. The Owls went down in three straight over the course of sets three, four, and five in a five set loss to the Vaqueros.

Outmanned

October 12, 2015

Glendora, CA -- Despite a positive effort by the Owls, the Citrus College Volleyball team was simply outmanned on Friday evening when it played host to State #5 College of the Canyons in a WSC South meeting. The visiting Cougars posted team kill percentages of .480, .320, and .304 across a straight set sweep of Citrus.

Owls Sweep Wildcats in WSC South Opener

Glendora, CA -- The Citrus College Volleyball team played host to West Los Angeles College on Friday evening in both school’s WSC South opener. The Owls swept the visiting Wildcats 25-16, 25-16, and 25-15.

A Little Familiar

Moorpark, CA -- For the second time this season the Citrus College Volleyball program took on a good Moorpark College team. This time though, instead of facing the Raiders on a neutral floor, the Owls travelled to Moorpark to take on the Raiders on their home floor. The end result was all a little familiar though as Citrus once again fell in straight sets, 12-25, 24-26, and 22-25.

Good to Be Back Home

Glendora, CA -- After playing their first nine games of the season on the road to limited success, the Citrus College Volleyball program finally opened up their 2015 home schedule on Friday evening when they hosted a tough Los Angeles Mission College team. It was good to be back home for the Owls as they played arguably their most complete match of the season with a four set win.

Owls Close Out Non-Conference Schedule With Another Loss

Costa Mesa, CA -- The Citrus College Volleyball program closed out their 2015 non-conference schedule on Wednesday evening with a trip into Orange County to take on Orange Coast College. The Owls suffered yet another loss in straight sets, 25-23, 25-11, and 25-17.

Sophomore Samantha Jape had a team high seven kills to go along with, three digs, two solo blocks, and an ace.
Volleyball Sputters Again at Fullerton

Fullerton, CA -- The Citrus College Volleyball program was on the road yet again on Wednesday evening when they took on Fullerton College in Fullerton. The Owls sputtered again, falling in straight sets to the Hornets, losing 25-21, 25-15, and 25-15.
