Women's Volleyball Sweeps Wolverines, Then Swept by Panthers

Women's Volleyball picked up their 3rd win of the 2018 season on Tuesday, when they travelled to San Bernardino Valley for a non conference matchup.

The Owls swept the Wolverines in 3 sets, 25-21, 25-17and 25-21. Jazmine Carlos and Gina Lipscomb both led the Owls offensively with 9 kills each. Lipscomb also led the team in digs with 11, followed closely by Vanessa Gomez who scrapped up 10 digs on the day. 

Citrus moved to 3-11 on the season with the win. 

The Owls took the floor again last night against host Chaffey College. Citrus struggled to ignite offensively, recording just 22 kills throughout the match, and Chaffey was on top of their game, holding the Owls to just 0.052 hitting percentage as a team. The Owls dropped the match in 3 sets, 22-25, 14-25, 20-25.

Citrus takes the floor again this Wednesday when they travel to Bakersfield for a 6:00 PM matchup.
