Central Coast Road Trip Ends In Loss For Volleyball

The Women's Volleyball team travelled to San Luis Obispo to take on Cuesta College On Wednesday. The Owls dropped the match 1-3 to the Cougars.

Sophomore outside hitter Nia Nix led the Owls offensively, putting away 13 swings for kills for a   .128 hitting percentage off 39 sets from setter Vanessa Warren. Nix also contributed 9 digs and a solo block to the effort. Warren ended the night with 27 total assists and a team leading 13 digs. 

The loss is the fourth straight for the Owls in 2019. The squad hopes to get things clicking in a pair of matches Friday at home. Citrus takes on Pasadena at 11:00 AM, and Ventura at 2:00 PM in the Citrus gym.
