Women's Water Polo: The Train Keeps Rollin

Women's Water Polo added another three wins to their remarkable 2019 season record last weekend in a tournament hosted by Long Beach City College.

The Owls beat San Joaquin Delta 13-9, Golden West 17-8, Cerritos 14-7 and fell to Fullerton 7-18. The weekend moved their overall record to 23-6, and the Owls maintain their 4-1 conference record with just one Western State Conference match remaining. That game is Wednesday at Santa Monica.

Citrus has been one of the top teams in the state all season, and they've stayed above an .800 winning percentage all of 2019 thus far. The California Community College Athletics Association poll falls in with that record. The Owls now find themselves ranked 5th in the state, a healthy move up from the previous poll.
