Who’s Who: Kate Carlyle

When it comes to protecting the cage for Citrus College, Kate Carlyle showed she's a force to be reckoned with.

The 5-foot-7 freshman goalie finished her first collegiate season with the Owls and posted a 52.8-percent save percentage with 93 saves. It led her to be named to the All-Western State College second team.

In her 15 games played, Carlyle boasted a 9-1 record. The Upland, Calif., native came up big for the Owls in a 10-8 victory over Redlands, making 13 saves in the game.

Carlyle also competes for the swim team and is majoring in psychology. She has one more season with Citrus.
