Citrus Makes Fourth Regional Playoff in Five Years

For the fourth time in five years, Citrus College will compete for a SoCal Regional Championship.

Southwestern College hosts the regional tournament Thursday through Saturday, with the champion advancing to the CCCAA State Championship.

The Owls (17-11) picked up the ninth seed in the tournament, taking on eighth-seeded Cypress College on Thursday at 12:30 p.m.

Earlier this year, Citrus and Cypress battled out in the Citrus Mini Tournament with the Chargers taking the game 10-9. The Owls look to avenge the one-point loss and extend its season with Thursday's winner taking on top-seeded Santa Barbara City College on Friday at 3:00 p.m.
