Citrus Competes at WSC Championships

Citrus College competed at the Western State Conference Championships Friday.

Adriana Torres led the Owl women with a 23^rd-place finish, crossing the finish line in 20 minutes, 35.6 seconds.

Navneet Ghotra took 56^th with a time of 26:17.6, followed by Aris Carmona (28:10.8) and Nancy Cubillo (29:44.8).

On the men's side, Saul Mora led Citrus with a top-40 finish, clocking in at 22:04.8. Eduardo Prestegui came in at 22:40.7, followed by Joseph Cruz's 23:49.4 time. Jason Bailey posted a time of 24:36.9, while Giovaughan DeLaCruz (26:05.7) and Weston Hakanson (26:09.2) were neck-and-neck.

The Owl men and Torres qualified for the SOCAL Finals on Nov. 5.
