Glendora, CA – Citrus College sophomore left hander, Brennan Piceno is the first Owl to sign a scholarship offer from the 2017 Citrus College Baseball team. The 6’4 hurler out of South Hills High School will suit up for California State University San Marcos in 2018.

Glendora, CA - Former Citrus College Baseball player Kyle Dohy saw his professional dreams come true recently as he was drafted in the 16th round of the Major League Baseball Draft last week. Dohy was selected with the 473rd pick of the event, by the Philadelphia Phillies.

Owls Sweep Barstow

Glendora, CA - The Citrus College Baseball team claimed their only conference sweep of the 2017 season on Friday afternoon with a 12-3 win over visiting Barstow College. Sophomore Roberto Baldanebro pitched a complete game, and the Owls racked up 14 hits in the win.

Bernal’s Gem Helps Owls Snap Four-Game Slide

Glendora, CA - Sophomore Aaron Bernal pitched eight solid innings, giving up just four total hits, one run, one walk, and fanning three. His gem helped the Owls stop a four-game slide, and beat visiting Barstow College in the opening game of their final regular season three-game set with Barstow College 7-1.

Owls Swept by Cougars

Santa Clarita, CA - For just the second time in the last 11 years, the Citrus College Baseball team got swept by College of the Canyons in their WSC series. The Owls last the final of four games to the Cougars on Saturday afternoon 7-1, giving Canyons four wins against Citrus this season.

Owls Struggle Against Cougars Again

Glendora, CA - For the second straight game, the Citrus College Baseball team couldn’t quite get it going against College of the Canyons. The Owls struggled against the Cougars, surrendering 15 hits, while being held to just five in a 9-1 loss.

Owls Fall to Canyons 15-5

Santa Clarita, CA - The College of the Canyons Baseball team continued its recent hot streak and jumped all over the Owls Baseball program on Tuesday afternoon in a 15-5 loss for Citrus. The Cougars scored 8 of their 15 runs in the first two innings and never looked back.

Owls Offense Disappears in Loss to Mt. SAC

Glendora, CA - The Citrus College Baseball team had their “Spring Break” come to a close in disappointing fashion on Thursday when visiting Mt. San Antonio College clobbered the Owls 9-1. The Owls offense completely disappeared, mustering just six hits, three walks, and one run in the loss.

Pasadena, CA - The Citrus College Baseball team completed their season sweep of Pasadena City College on Wednesday. The Owls used an eight run spurt between the fifth and seventh innings to secure an 11-9 win over the Lancers.

Baseball Opens “Spring Break” With Win at Mt. SAC

April 11, 2017

Walnut, CA - The Citrus College Baseball team opened up their 2017 “Spring Break”, their annual week off from Western State Conference action, with a win at Mt. San Antonio College on Tuesday evening. The Owls used a big sixth inning, and then held off the Mounties down the stretch for the 6-4 win.

Owls Lose Series Finale to Victor Valley

Glendora, CA – For the second straight week, the Citrus College Baseball team failed to finish a sweep of a WSC East foe, when they lost the series finale to Victor Valley College. The Owls managed eight hits, but stranded 10 base runners in a 5-3 loss to the visiting Rams.

Owls Squeeze Out Win in Victorville

Victorville, CA - The Citrus College Baseball team squeezed out a 6-5 win in Victorville on Thursday afternoon. A squeeze by sophomore Garrett Barnes in the top of the eighth, allowed sophomore Kyosuke Ushimaru to score from third to give the Owls a 6-5 lead and eventually the win.

Glendora, CA - The Citrus College Baseball team routed visiting Victor Valley College on Tuesday afternoon 19-6. The Owls scored in five of their eight innings, en route to the 13 run victory over WSC East rival Victor Valley College.

Owls Drop Finale With Antelope Valley

Lancaster, CA - The Citrus College Baseball team failed to record a sweep on Saturday afternoon in a 5-3 loss at Antelope Valley College. The Owls had won the previous three meetings with the Marauders, but gave up four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and couldn’t secure the season sweep.

Glendora, CA - The Citrus College Baseball team improved to 3-0 against Antelope Valley College this season on Thursday afternoon with a 9-1 win over the visiting Marauders. The Owls handled the game from the start, scoring four runs in the bottom of the first en route to the eight run victory.
