Glendora, CA - With runners on the corners and just one out in the bottom of what was already a wild ninth inning, Citrus College freshman third baseman Kristian Scott strolled to the plate. Scott who was 1 for 3 on the afternoon with a pair of RBIs, calmly belted the first pitch her saw through the right side of the field plating freshman Donovyn Curiel and giving Citrus a 6-5 win over visiting Pasadena City College.

Both team's traded zeros on the scoreboard well into the second half of the game. PCC's first score would come on a sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth, while the Owls matched it in the bottom half of the inning thanks to an RBI single down the right field line by sophomore Marcos Campos that scored Curiel.

The Lancers would keep it rolling through the seventh inning, where they scored three runs (one unearned) to go up 4-1, but Citrus had an answer again getting an infield RBI single from Campos and a 2 RBI infield single from Scott to make it 4-4. In the top of the ninth, Pasadena once again took advantage of a Citrus fielding miscue to go back in front 5-4, but the Owls rallied with sophomore Jacob Gafford tying the game up on a PCC error just before Scott's game winning hit.

With the win, Citrus improves to 4-6-1 overall. The Owls will be on the road on Saturday when they travel to Mt. San Jacinto College for a 12:00 PM showdown with the Eagles.
