Glendora, CA - The Citrus College Baseball team had their "Spring Break" come to a close in disappointing fashion on Thursday when visiting Mt. San Antonio College clobbered the Owls 9-1. The Owls offense completely disappeared, mustering just six hits, three walks, and one run in the loss.

The Mounties jumped all over the Owls, scoring half of their runs in the first three innings. Citrus was down 9-0 before they managed to score their first run an RBI single to left field by Kristian Scott in the bottom of the sixth. That was the last run for either team. Scott was the lone highlight for the Owls accounting for half of their hits, going 3-for-4.

With the loss, Citrus drops to 18-14-2 overall. The Owls will be back in conference action next Tuesday when they travel to College of the Canyons for the opening salvo of their three game set with the Cougars. First pitch is set for 2:30 PM.
