Road Trip to ELAC Falls Short

The Citrus Baseball squad travelled to East Los Angeles College on Tuesday for their third game of the 2019 season. The Owls lost to the Huskies 2-7, moving to 1-2 overall.
Freshman Kanta Kobayashi went 3 for 4 on the day, including a double in the 8th, and scored a run. Kobayashi also snagged a stolen base to round out his stat line. Teppei Fukuda hit a double that drove in a run in the 1st and later drove in the 2nd Owl run on a sacrifice fly in the 3rd inning. Thomas Aceituno went 2 for 3 with a run scored.
Citrus is back at it tomorrow when they host Rio Hondo at 2:00 PM. The Owls will then travel to Rio Hondo Friday for another 2:00 start.
