Citrus Baseball hosted the West Los Angeles Wildcats on Thursday for a regional matchup. The Owls held on to beat the Wildcats 4-3.
Citrus was able to put together a 6th inning rally, scoring all 4 Owl runs in the process. West LA put together a legitimate comeback effort in the 8th, piecing together 3 runs and pressuring the Owls on the defensive side. But Citrus would hold off the comeback, hanging on to the 4-3 lead and capturing the win. The victory moved the Owls to 4-9-1 overall in 2019.
Citrus turns around and travels to Cypress on Friday for a 2:00 start.
