BASEBALL: Citrus Falls on Road to San Diego City

After rain spoiled the original scheduled game, Citrus College could only get four hits, while allowing 22, to lose a 19-5 contest to San Diego City College Tuesday.

The Fighting Owls drop to 6-10 on the year, while the Knights improve to 8-5.

Joshua Guzman had a hit, a walk and two runs scored to help lead the Citrus offense. Go Hattori went 2-for-3 with a walk, while Jonathan Alaniz went 1-for-1 with two RBIs. Jack Strickland added two runs and Alejandro Loera drew two walks and scored a run for Citrus.

The Owls begin Western State Conference action on Tuesday, March 3, hosting Antelope Valley for a 2:00 p.m. contest.
