Justin Grijalva joined the Citrus College baseball coaching staff in 2019 as the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator.

In 2020, Grijalva helped the Owls boast a conference-best 3.61 Team ERA, which also ranked No. 8 in Southern California and No. 22 in the California Community College Athletic Association.

Prior to Citrus, Grijalva was the varsity pitching coach at Northview High School for three years.

Grijalva played college ball for two years at Citrus before moving onto Loyola Marymount University. He graduated from LMU with a degree in communication studies and then obtained his master’s in business management with an emphasis in sport management from Azusa Pacific University in 2019.
