2015 Youth Summer Camp Set for Seven Weeks

Glendora, CA -- The 2015 Youth Summer Camp hosted by the Citrus College Football program is set for seven weeks. The 6th Annual Camp will begin on Monday June 15th, and will run Monday – Thursdays through July 30th.

Two More Owls Set to Move On

Glendora, CA -- Two more Citrus College Football players are set to move on from the Owls to four-year programs. Sophomore defensive back Tyler Walker has accepted a scholarship offer from NCAA DII Dixie State University, while freshman wide receiver Patrick Martin has accepted an opportunity to walk-on at NCAA DI Middle Tennessee State.

Cruikshank and Manderville Become 9th and 10th Owls to Sign

Glendora, CA -- Citrus College sophomores Dane Cruikshank and Terrance Manderville became the 10th and 11th Citrus College Football players to sign scholarship offers so far this season recently. Cruikshank signed on with the University of Arizona, while Manderville has signed with Houston Baptist University.

Cutbirth Commits to Southeastern Louisiana

Glendora, CA -- Record breaking Citrus College sophomore quarterback Larry Cutbirth has made his decision of where he will play football upon leaving Citrus. Cutbirth has committed with NCAA DI FCS Southeastern Louisiana University, becoming the fifth Owl to commit and/or sign with a DI school so far.

O’Leary Signs With Prairie View A&M; Two More Also Move On

Glendora, CA -- Citrus College sophomore defensive back Marquice O’Leary became the fourth Owl football player to sign an early DI scholarship offer. O’Leary has accepted an offer from NCAA Division I FCS Prairie View A&M. In addition, two other members of the Citrus secondary accepted offers from Benedictine College of the NAIA.

Kane Signs With UTSA

January 20, 2015

Glendora, CA -- Citrus College sophomore defensive end/linebacker Benjamin Kane, became the third Owl to sign a scholarship offer yesterday. Kane will suit up and attend the University of Texas at San Antonio this Spring.

Williams and Turner Sign Early Offers

Glendora, CA -- The dust has barely settled on the 2014 Citrus College Football season, and the Owls have already had two players sign early scholarship offers. Sophomore defensive lineman Willard “Trent” Williams and sophomore linebacker Dorrin Turner will be out in the Spring at Southeastern Louisiana University and Houston Baptist University respectively.

12 Owls Dot All-Central League List

Glendora, CA -- The Southern California Football Association (SCFCA) announced it’s post-season awards recently. Citrus College had 12 players named an All-Central League honoree. Leading the way was sophomore Justin Martin, who was Citrus’ lone 1st-teamer, as a returner.

Always Tough

Riverside, CA -- While the 2014 Citrus College Football season didn’t quite shake out as the Owls would have hoped, they always made things tough on their opponents. That was true again on Saturday night as they gave SoCal and State #1 Riverside City College all they could handle in a 14-20 loss.

Another Late Score Fells Owls

Glendora, CA -- For the fifth time this season, the Citrus College Football team went into the fourth quarter with a lead or at least the game tied. Unfortunately for Citrus, for the fifth straight time a late score would fell the Owls, as they came up just shy of upsetting SoCal #3 Long Beach City College in a 27-33 loss.

Reversal of Fortunes

October 26, 2014

Glendora, CA -- The Citrus College Football team suffered a reversal of fortunes on Saturday afternoon when they played host to Chaffey College. The Owls dominated the first half and went into the break up 20-0. In the second half though, it was all Panthers, as Chaffey outscored Citrus 30-3 in the final 30 minutes in a 30-23 loss for the Owls.

A Tale of Two Halves

October 21, 2014

Walnut, CA -- For a little over 30 minutes on Saturday, the Citrus College Football team played neck and neck with host Mt. San Antonio College. The Owls were darn near even with the Mounties in the first half, but the second half was a different story as Citrus was outscored 24-3 over the final 30 minutes of play in a 41-17 loss.

Cutbirth Named Central League Offensive Player of the Week

Glendora, CA -- Citrus College sophomore quarterback Larry Cutbirth was named the National Division Central League Offensive Player of the Week for Week #5 early Tuesday morning. It’s the first award for Cutbirth this year, and he is the second Owl to earn the honor in 2014.

Owls Roll In Win Over Harbor

Glendora, CA -- The Citrus College Football team picked up its largest margin of victory on Saturday afternoon when it hosted Los Angeles Harbor College. It took a while for them to get going, but once they did, the Owls rolled in a 40-13 victory.

Owls Back On Track With Win at El Camino

Redondo Beach, CA — After another close loss last week at Golden West College, the Citrus College Football team got back on track on Saturday evening with a road win at El Camino College. The Owls out gained the Warriors by nearly 100 yards, and dominated the time of possession in a 28-21 victory.
