Glendora, CA -- Citrus College freshman Dominique Walker saved his best game for the Owls' final regular season game of the 2013-2014 season. Walker scored a season and game high 18 points, in helping lead the Owls to a 67-63 win over the visiting Wildcats of West Los Angeles College.

The game was pretty tight throughout. West LA scored the game's first points, but the Owls quickly took the lead over 4-2 after a jumper from freshman Steven Polee Jr. and a pair of free-throws from freshman Jordan Jefferson, a lead they'd never relinquish. It wasn't easy though.

Citrus' lead was never more than six points in the first half, and that was very early on when a dunk from freshman Chris Reyes made it 10-4. West LA would have it down to one in the closing two minutes of the first half, but Citrus closed the half on a small 4-0 run to go into the break up 36-31.

In the second half, Citrus would finally push their lead to double-digits, but it didn't last long. The Owls went up 56-45 after a jumper from Walker with 6:30 to go. The Wildcats got it all the way down to two on two separate occasions in the final minute, but Walker iced the game with four straight free-throws to give Citrus the win.

Along with Walker, Reyes continued his standout campaign, with 17 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and five blocks. No other Owl finished in double figures, but six others scored at least five points.

With the win, Citrus improves to 15-8 on the year and 8-4 in conference play. The Owls will now await their fate for the 2014 playoffs, which will be announced on Monday.
