Glendale, CA — The Citrus College Men's Basketball program hit the road for the first time in nearly two weeks on Wednesday evening, and had a tough test waiting for them in Glendale College. The Owls overcame a six points halftime deficit and survived with a 73-67 win.

Citrus would score the game's opening points, but would quickly relinquish the lead. The Owls went 11 for 22 from the field, but shot just 1 of 7 from three in the opening frame as Glendale went into the half up 34-28.

In the second half, the two teams traded the lead a few times throughout the first 10 minutes, until a jumper from freshman Ryan Wiley midway through made it 49-47 in favor of the Owls. Citrus never trailed the rest of the way, as Citrus went onto outscore the Vaqueros 45-33 in the second half of the contest.

In the win, Citrus was paced by Wiley's team high 16 points. Sophomore's Justin Childress and Dominique Walker each added 13, while freshman Tyler LaCour had 14.

With the win, Citrus improves to 14-7 overall and 7-2 in WSC South play. The Owls will get another stiff test this weekend when they travel to Bakersfield College for a 3:00 PM tip.
