Men's Basketball Neil Edwards Classic: Owls Top Santa Monica

Men's Basketball hosted the 2018 Neil Edwards Classic last weekend. The tournament featured Chaffey, Santa Monica, and San Diego City Colleges.

Citrus would face off against Santa Monica in the first round of play on Friday. The Owls topped the Corsairs 83-59 in a lopsided matchup that featured all of the players on the Citrus roster. 

Newcomer Josh Caston led the way in scoring for the Owls, dropping 18 points  and dishing 5 assists. Caston got himself to the charity stripe 13 times and sank 12 of those and tossed in a couple of three's for good measure. Another first year player, Colby Orr scored 14 points on 60% shooting. Returner Psalm Maduakor delivered a double double for the Owls with 11 points and 11 rebounds, his 2nd of the season.

The win moved Citrus to 4-2 on the season and advanced them to the tournament final on Saturday.
