The Fighting Owl Men's Basketball team played its final regular season home game on Tuesday when it played host to WSC East Conference foe Antelope Valley. The Owls sent the Marauders home with a 66-58 loss, solidifying Citrus' prominent spot on top of the conference at 9-0.

Citrus once again got big numbers from Sam Gagliardi, who recently broke the Citrus single game three-point record by sinking 10 long range jumpers last Saturday. Gagliardi led all scorers Tuesday with 28 points on 10 for 16 shooting from the field and 4 threes. Colby Orr scored 16 points to contribute to the win.

Citrus improves to 21-6 overall in 2018-19 and a perfect mark in conference with one more road game to play before playoffs. The Owls are currently ranked #9 in the state of California, and are poised to make a solid run in the postseason.

Citrus faces off with Victor Valley in the high desert on Friday at 5:00 PM to finish out regular season play.
