Coming off a rough night on offense, No. 16-ranked Citrus College bounced back with an 84-73 victory over Southwestern College Friday at the Fullerton Tournament, dropping 13 three-pointers.

The Owls improve to 7-3 on the year, while the Jaguars slip to 3-8.

Five Owls finished the game in double figures, led by Francis Dogani off the bench. Dogani caught fire and posted 19 points on 6-of-9 shooting, including a 3-of-4 performance from beyond the arc. Chris Chiles followed with 15 points, also with a hot hand, finishing 6-for-8 from the floor. Cedric Reed added 14 points (5-for-9), while Jayden Johnston (4-for-7) and Leonard Turner each chipped in 11 points.

Southwestern finished the night with a better shooting percentage (56.6-percent), but the Owls took care of their chances at the charity stripe and took advantage of the Jaguars' 29 turnovers, which resulted in 36 points for Citrus.

The Owls close out the tournament with a tough test, taking on host Fullerton – which sits in the top spot of the latest CCCMBCA Poll. Citrus and Fullerton tip off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
