Coming off a pair of hard-fought losses, Citrus College got back to its winning ways with gusto, blowing past LA Pierce in a 105-59 victory. The Owls set a program record in the process with 27 steals. (Stats weren't kept prior to the 2005-06 season.)

The Owls, who led by as much as 55 points, improve to 4-2 on the year, while the Brahmas drop to 0-7.

Five Owls finished the game in double figures, led by Chris Chiles' 19 points (7-for-11). He also had four assists and four steals in the win. Jayden Johnston sank five treys to finish with 15 points, while Jamal Briscoe added 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting. Both Dylon Davis (4-for-8) and Uriah Foster (4-for-6) chipped in 11 points.

Off the glass, Aibigho Ujadughele led Citrus with eight rebounds.

LA Pierce scored the first points of the game, but Citrus quickly found its rhythm and turned on the defensive pressure. The Owls forced Brahma 38 turnovers in the game, which led to 45 points for Citrus.

Citrus remains at home to host the Citrus Tournament next weekend, taking on Cerro Coso on Friday at 3 p.m. to tip off the six-team tournament.
