Owls Take Last at WSC Allan Hancock

Santa Maria, CA -- The Citrus College Men's Golf team had their worst finish of the 2013 season on Monday afternoon when they took seventh out of the seven competing teams at the WSC Allan Hancock Event. The Owls shot a team combined score of 401 at Santa Maria Country Club.

Sophomore's Jacob Rodriguez, Brett Smith, and Daniel Olivas all led the way for the Owls on Monday. Rodriguez and Smith both fired 78's, while Olivas rebounded from last week's round of 80+ with a 79. Freshman Alex Cheng continued to proved value to the Owls with a round of 80, while freshman Ricky Hunter rounded out the scoring with an 86.

Citrus will try and rally on Monday when they host their own Western State Conference Event. Tee-time is set for 11:00 AM at San Dimas Canyon Golf Course.
