Solvang, CA -- Citrus College sophomore Joshua Davis fired a one over 73 on Monday afternoon at the WSC Event hosted by Santa Barbara City College. That was good enough for the second best round overall at the Alisal Ranch Golf Course, and helped lead the Owls to a fourth place finish out of the eight conference teams.

Behind Davis, was sophomore Homerson So, who shot a 78, good enough for a five way tie for 15th best individual round overall. Three strokes behind So was freshman Joshua Herman with his round of 81. Freshman Takakazu Furukawa and sophomore Matt Nolan rounded out the scoring rounds for the Owls. Furukawa shot an 85, and Nolan came in with an 86. As a team, Citrus shot a 403, just one stroke ahead of 5th place Bakersfield College.

The Owls will be back out on the golf course this coming Friday when they participate in a non-conference Mt. San Jacinto College Tournament at The Country Club at Soboba Springs in San Jacinto. Tee-time is set for 11:00 AM.
