Solvang, CA -- The Citrus College Men's Golf team moved up three spots from their previous week's performance at their second WSC event of the season. The Owls finished in 4th place at the WSC Event hosted by Santa Barbara City College at Alisal Ranch Golf Course.

Sophomore Justin Hung was the low man on the day for the Owls, heading into the clubhouse with a round of 77. That tied him for 12th place individually, as he finished just two strokes out of a Top 5 finish. Behind him were a trio of freshmen in Samuel Mangiaterra, Tyler Bliss, and James Bragger. All three shot rounds of 78, as they shared 14th place with three other golfers. Rounding out the scoring rounds on Monday was freshman Tyler Hoefferle who shot an 82.

As a team, the Owls finished with a team score of 393. That was just two strokes back of third place Glendale College and seven strokes in front of fifth place Allan Hancock College.

The Owls will be right back out on the links this Wednesday as they take part in the Mt. San Jacinto College Tournament at Soboba Springs Golf Course.
