Owls Finish 5th at WSC Neutral

Ventura, CA -- The Citrus College Men's Golf team finished the last regular season match of the 2015 season on Monday afternoon at the WSC Neutral Site at Olivas Links Golf Course in Ventura, CA. The Owls finished in fifth place with a 384.

Freshman James Bragger led the Owls with a two over par 74. His round of 74 put him in a three-way tie for 12th place overall. Sophomore Justin Hung, was just one stroke behind Bragger with a 75, while freshman Tyler Bliss was just two strokes back with a 76. Freshman Tyler Hoefferle and sophomore John Gaynor rounded out the scoring rounds, shooting a 79 and 80 respectively.

The team score of 384, place the Owls solidly in fifth place, eight strokes up on sixth place Allan Hancock and five strokes back of fourth place Santa Barbara City College.

The Owls will close out Western State Conference play next weekend as they take part in the WSC Championships. Citrus will play two rounds over the course of one day, next Monday the 27th at Antelope Valley Country Club in Palmdale.
