Owls Finish 4th in Tight Race at WSC Ventura

Oxnard, CA – The Citrus College Men's Golf team finished in 4th place at the WSC Event hosted by Ventura College. The Owls shot a combined 399 on the afternoon, which was just two strokes behind third place Ventura College, and 10 strokes behind second place Santa Barbara City College in a tight race.

Sophomore James Bragger continued his assault on the conference courses posting a 79. While it kept him out of the Top 10 it was still a Top 15 score, as he tied with teammates sophomore Justin Orona and freshman Maximiliano Garcia. Freshman Joshua Strong carded a 80, while freshman Gabriel Sosa just edged teammate and fellow freshman Aaron Coiner (85) with a round of 82.

The Owls will be back out on the course next Monday when the host the rest of the WSC at San Dimas Canyon Golf Course. Tee-time is set for 11:00 AM.
